I know Dtube is a great platform. I like it the way it is but i would have loved it if it had tried to be its own thing rather than being just a clone of youtube. If youtube found it a competition, then it can easily claim patent over design.

I can't register in d.tube, always say the password is wrong, already tried all the passwords. 😲

I have tried using dtube for several times and I must be missing something. I have had no luck watching vids there as it buffers like crazy. Even your video is not watchable. I don't fully understand ipfs yet, but have been reading a couple articles. So is there something I need to do on my computer (windows10) to fix this? Anyone? TIA.

Most importantly, never share your passwords with anyone or anything, dtube, dlive, dmania, chainbb, streemian and others included.
They claim parts of your rewards for themselves using your active key and at times use your posting key, they vote on their posts using your accounts.

I know Dtube is a fantastic stage. I like it the way it is anyway I would have loved it in case it had endeavored to be its own specific thing instead of being just a clone of youtube. I figure they should a tiny bit at a time change the framework and make their own particular character on the web.

Useful article, thanks @Joeparys ; the advanced settings options threw me for a few seconds, and then I saw that D.Tube automatically sets them anyway during the upload process.

What I learned:
*Keyboard shortcuts!

A brilliantly useful feature, particularly being able to step back and forwards at fractions of the video, as well as in 5 second clumps. Very, very cool.

Do you (reader - not just Joe!) think that D.Live & D.Tube will come together as an integrated platform at some point, or is there no real necessity?

I am running a beginner's incubator on Steemit, where I will run advertising campaigns for the platform, complete beginner guides to Steemit, Manual curation of undervalued posts, graphic design for new users with outstanding content and more.

I have a Graphic designer on board, and to give you some context, I am working in ICO consultancy full time (PR and marketing), and I am also working in online course creation/blogging, and have recently co-founded a tech start-up. I have previously worked in traditional marketing too.

For this project, I am primarily looking for people who are interested in helping, and because you are so influential and have online a Udemt steemit course, I thought you may be interested. Very good tutorial!! you or somebodie can explain better the ipfs tecnology and the integration with dtube? i can't upload videos,. it say ipfs is not running. I instal the ipfs and run the deamon but it seem like dtube and dsound not read my ipfs

Great overview of DTube. I've been wanting to get into it and start publishing there but haven't known what to make videos about yet.

Curious... What are your thoughts on repurposing your own content from YouTube? Good idea or bad idea? I make a lot of videos for YouTube and I could post them again to DTube but I don't know if that's frowned upon or if it's ineffective.

I can navigate DTube effectively after watching this. Great video and this is my first comment on DTube. I just had a few questions that maybe if asked could help inform some others. OH MY GOSH!! So helpful! I was having major issues uploading my video and couldn't figure out why. Also, I LOVE the watch again feature!! VERY VERY COOL! There are always steemits I want to come back to, so, I have to save them in my browser. This is much more stream lined!
