Art Process
- sketch and line art
I started with positioning Panyang. I had a good reference, but the finger positioning is my problem. 😆 So I have to imagine how it will go with the feet too. And then I realized that Panyang has 4 fingers... so I had to redrew again, haha. For the background, I wanted to have some glows.
- base color and shading
Now, for the base color, I just copied from the original art. I noticed that the dark color of Panyang has an undertone of brown, the same as his eyes. And then, I added a layer on top for the shading.
Here, I added a glowing border line of electric blue and then a gradient color of purple. Hmmm, I was thinking if I should add the rock platform... Well, if it is ever chosen as one of the official fan art, I might suggest editing it, haha.
These are the strands of glows that I added to feel like Panyang is powerful. 😆
