Totally agree with you. Steem can easily cross 100 usd in 2018. Steem is yet to pick up in India. India is huge market for bloggers, vloggers etc. Huge readership in India. A single news blog in India has millions of readers. When the craze of steemit reaches India the prize of steem will touch to another level. I am sure steemit very certain More Indian bloggers will join soon on steemit.

I believe steem price should be 100 USD in 1 y from now. Why because of the limited supply and the low Market capitalization at the present time, Steemit is the only crypto that solves all the problems in one platform. Smart contracts via bots, media, social, video, audio, decentralized voting, Leaders with influence like ned . All of this suggests that Steem is the best and is not under the radar of any crypto trader. as the price fluctuation is very low. That is the only reason steem is so low. To stable to be profitable for short-term position.

This is great to raise awareness outside of the usual readership. If Steemit as a platform is to become truly successful we need to reach people outside of crypto who post about every different aspect of life. Whilst we are starting to do this we still have a long way to go.

Jerry, I have been a subscriber of yours and love to listen to your witness and lessons on cryptocurrency. BUT, I must say you are giving a false sense of quick Steemit success and getting rich. Your situation is very unique in that you have made it big on Steemit. For the majority of us, that is not the case. I have been working hard for the last 6 months with a fair but minimal return. I hope to grow further and will continue to work hard. I have even been playing the bot game and really that is the only thing keeping my head above water and making it worth it. I enjoy your enthusiasm about Steemit and Steem as I do as well and feel they have a great future. I don't believe in the "get rich quick" as you have been fortunate to experience.

Hey Jerry, question - how does "account recovery" make a cryptocurrency safer? I understand the importance and value in this recovery method that Dan announced last year, but I don't understand how this necessarily makes it safer than other wallets if it's still in fact as susceptible to hacking as anyone else. Really interested in understanding all of this as a newbie here, as I just posted about this topic. think about this if im the first person on steemit lonely place not much to do , all of a sudden 100 people join i can connect up vote people so they actually increased the value of my account and Steemit platform inadvertently or not even knowing SO it's classic network effects a billion people on Steemit that's a billion squared right so all the sudden the value gets exponentially greater and the currency in here is STEEM and every day more and more people join this platform so Steem is bitcoin 2.0

I only joined steemit after stumbling across one of your videos on youtube, and am glad I did now, sure it is hard work at the start, and can be frustrating, after 3 weeks on here I am finding my way around much better, the minnow support project is also awesome, and new guys not joined discord I heartily recommend you do so, you show amazing knowledge in that post of this whole concept that is steemit and the sbd etc, knowledge that will one day set us all free from government control (I hope) peace and keep up the great work.

All investment has risk! Especially when trading on unregulated exchanges whose liquidity is unknown. It's not really anonymous if an organization has a phone number. New money flows to where? Current money. As everyone seeks to maximize personal profit the ownership pool will remain nearly unchanged, unless the code is designed to prevent that. Most cryptos, if not all, do not prevent this from happening, as more money buys more computing power, or more money gets more stake, or more money gets more upvotes, and so on.

Steemit has some of the best potential of the cryptos because these things are not set in stone, but there are challenges ahead if it wants to be the biggest force in crypto and social media, not the least of which is tackling the perception that it's basically a rich get richer platform.

Excellent video. I did discover steemit from following your youtube channel as I was originally interested in Facebook marketing for ads for clients of my business. This is my first comment and am still figuring steemit out. The learning curve seems steep but I can see huge potential for this platform. If it takes market share away from Facebook and Youtube that can only be a good thing.

Question (Actually a proposal really!) :-

"Finders' Fees" Wanted - I would like STEEMIT to reward account holders who persuade other non-STEEMIT vloggers/bloggers to come over & post their content on STEEMIT.

I have several dozen favourite vloggers on YouTube who not only constantly (rightly) whine about censureship, & the adds they are forced to carry, also whine about being bad-mouthed, trolled & being accused of being shills etc, but they also constantly plead viewers to donate because they are not making enough $$$$. I've mentioned STEEMIT to a number of them - to some success.

But I'd surely do a lot more if I was rewarded!

So what if a vlogger switched to - or added - STEEMIT to their postings AND MENTIONED THE NAME OF THE STEEMIT ACCOUNT HOLDER WHO recommended STEEMIT to them, which mention would earn that account holder rewards (big ones !!)

Imagine if I persuaded INFO WARS to post on STEEMIT !!!!!

Perhaps the rewards could be commensurate to the size of the switcher's viewership.

BTW a thousand million thank yous, Jerry, YOU TOTALLY ROCK !!!!

For its technology and long-term investments, the steem is interesting, but for the medium and short terms, the internal currencies of the platforms such as binance or kucoin seem to be promised a rise as important as the popularity, therefore the volume, passing through these exchanges. And so the BNB and KuCoin seem to me to have a very strong margin of progress.

Please don't focus so much on blogging and authors. Instead, say contributors to the blockchain. People get rewards for what the bring to the table, and it is so much more than just blogging. When you talk so much about blogging in the start, you reinforce the misconception that STEEM is a blogging token. It is not. We have Utopian, DLive, DSound, DTube, Steepshot, +++, and there are also artists, scientists, musicians, etc, contributing to the network where people exchange STEEM for work.

I think it would be great if you could make a video simply to communicate on how much more STEEM is than just a blockchain for blogging.
