Shah Alam Bhai and the kite.
About Shah Alam Bhai, my cousin. He was a man with quite dark skin. At the same time, he was very tall and a bit thin for his height. Since he was taller than his peers and was used to farming with his father since childhood, he was also very strong. For this reason, none of us ever dared to bully Shah Alam Bhai about his skin.
Shah Alam knew many things. One of them was making and flying kites. Another was that he could do some electronics work. At that time, we only made and flew quadrangular kites with polythene paper. But Shah Alam Bhai was an amateur. He used to make "Boora Kites". Large-sized kites, which used nylon thread to fly, would buzz in the sky, hence the name. However, its original name is still unknown to me.
His hobby did not end here. We only flew kites during the day. Shah Alam Bhai also flew kites at night. Along with this, when it got dark, he would put a light on a CD cassette made with his own mechanism, powered by a pencil battery. If there was a battery with it, it would light up again. He could even reach the kite.
We would understand where Shah Alam Bhai's famous flying kite was by seeing the buzzing sound and the swinging of a white light in the night sky.
