KEEP THE LINK CONTEST #2

The idea

This contest is for everyone who likes to take pictures. I am not looking for pitch perfect pictures like other contests do. I want to see some creativity. If your image is not completely in focus, no worries, just make sure the objects in the picture are recognizable.

The rules

Every week a picture will be posted. This picture will contain 3 objects. All you have to do is recreate this picture with your own stuff. It is not about finding the exact same objects, it is about objects that have a link with the objects in the picture. Okay, that sounds way more complicated than it is.

Examples

  • If there is a crystal vase in the given picture, then you can replace it with any kind of vase of your own, or with anything that is made out of glass (crystal) that can hold something.
  • If there is a book in the given picture, then you can replace it with any book, or your ereader, or something that relates to the title of the book, or the name of the author.
  • If there is a jar of marmelade in the given picture, then you can replace it with a jar of peanutbutter, or something else in a jar, or something else that is a regular thing to put on a sandwich.

How to participate

  • Take a picture of your objects
  • Create a new post. Add your picture to that post and describe how your objects relate to the given objects
  • Use the tag #keepthelink so I can easily find your post
  • Also put a link to your post in a comment to the post you are reading right now
  • Upvote the post you are reading right now
  • Resteem if you like, it is highly appreciated but not mandatory
  • Only one entry per participant

Prize

The prize for this contest will be:

  • 1 SBI for the winner
  • all valid entries will get an even part of SBD payout of this post

So spread the word, more participants means bigger prize.

Contest End

The contest will end at payout of this post.

Languages

You can describe your objects in your post in Dutch, English, French or German.

I will have to think abou thits lol :) but it will be a great opportunity to make a picture and post-ready so I have another day covered posting lol. So will try to think of a new picture today ..

Thanks, I know but it's because of the arrival of our friend tonight that I'm trying to make posts in advance so I still can post daily on Steemit. And once I know what must be on the picture this is an easy one to make in advance.. Then I'll be covered a few days from now.. So I can still curate in between the acticities :)

It would be great if you could participate. That rhyms.
Don't limit yourself by thinking of it as a ring. It is also, round, iron (well silver), metal, hollow.
That is the fun part of this contest, there is so much more to an object than just its name or purpose.

Het klinkt inderdaad complicated ;-)
Ik ben blij dat Hatsekidee al een foto heeft, want nu snap ik het. Of ik er wat van kan bakken weet ik nog niet, maar ik ga er zeker over nadenken. Mijn God wat een breinkrakert dit..... hihi

Je kunt ook even kijken naar de eerste contest. Het klinkt ingewikkeld maar geeft eigenlijk heel veel ruimte.
De vorige versie had een pen als object, dat werd een pen, een potlood, een notitieblok, een toetsenbord, een kwast en een marker.

Dit ging nog verder dan ik zelf had bedacht. Ik kan voor de huidige objecten geen voorbeeld geven omdat je dan net zult zien dat iemand zegt 'O dat wilde ik doen'. :)

Het zou heel leuk zijn als je meedoet.

Inmiddels is het me inderdaad duidelijk, maar die Hatsekidee heeft wel een briljante inzending. Daar kom ik nooit overheen hihi ;-)

Great entry. Instead of realizing the tv and lamp are small, I keep seeing gigantic earrings :)
A dollhouse so much fun.

Hahahaha funny right? I was glad I could replace two items from the dollhouse, so it would all be around the same size :) This dollhouse is not that great, but the furniture inside it yes, so nice!
