Woodwork Tuesday & ReadCash [is Back]

Finally productive most of today with some woodwork. The circular saw started smoking at some point, and I had to remind myself to take a break and let it cool down, too. I was so focused that I forgot the protruding metal latch near me, and it hit my head hard when I suddenly stood up, making me scream in agonizing pain and sit down as I felt some dizziness.

Thankfully, it disappeared after a couple of minutes, so I continued what I was working on. It was half-past 4 pm when I decided to stop and start cleaning the sawdust. While at it, a crawling creature appeared. Don't know what it is, but GL identified it as a caterpillar or moth larva.

I thought about discarding the sawdust, but remembered that it can actually be composted and could be used to grow plants. Hence, I stored it temporarily in a paint can and would find a place for composting; otherwise, I would probably use it as a surface mulch for the eggplants.

By the way, the sun finally showed up today, so we enjoyed basking under it early in the day. Has it been 3 weeks since the incessant rains started? I lost count already, lol!

Anyhow, while checking one of my email inboxes a little while ago, I learned that Read Cash is back. I was intrigued, so I visited the site and realized that all my previous short posts on Noise (between 2021 and 2023) had been retained. I mean, wow!

It automatically gave me a default handle, but I think it can be changed.

I have yet to read how things work there now, but it will be interesting to see whether other users are willing to go back to it, start posting, and revive their pages. I got excited, to be honest, but with the busy days ahead of us here in DD, it might take a while before I can spare some time for it.

Or maybe I will check it further after dinner. We'll see😉

Read.cash is back with a new look. Seems like there is some development, but there is still no fund for backup, and I am waiting to see how it goes.
