I do not see such a situation. If you are saying on the basis of low price of crypto market then my friend it is a part of the market. a market will not always remain at a high level. Only thing is that, it is slightly higher in volatility and it trades in very wide range. But that is how the character of different market is. The nature of particular market depends upon the macro-dynamics of that particular market.

So the low price or the high price, these are the transformations of the market and may be a significant opportunity for someone who has invested at the low price.

It can not be dead. Everyday thousands of transaction are happening. Will call it dead ?

Everyday so many block confirmations are happening without a down time. That means it is live and the developers and witnesses are doing their job day and night. Will you still call it dead ?

If just look at the price, you may not understand the cryptocurrency as a product or asset. Look at its functioning not at the price, you will get to know that, it is amazingly carrying on its journey. Everyday it is turning over one page. Everyday so many blocks are added to the chain. The blockchain is just running and running and creating history on daily basis. you are missing that beauty. It is all here to stay and will board many other enthusiast and make them a part of this story.

There could be some bumpy road for an asset but as long as it is running and not stopping it can not be dead and I do not see a do or die situation just because of the low price of steem. This low price could be a redistribution of asset and can be a chance for many people who waited for a long time. I look upon it in that sense.

If the core functioning of a particular blockchain and the cryptocurrency will stop, then only I can consider it as a do or die situation and untill then its perfectly fine.
