A night out in town, it's raining and you need a ride home... In today's world you would simply call an uber. And then, luckily you find a telephone booth and call your best friend to come and rescue you. In those days, telephone booths weren't ornaments, they were a lifeline...

Oh yes, I remember those days. Unfortunately, those types of phone booths hardly exist here anymore, and the few that survived vandalism are now just strange objects that bear witness to the past.
