Sportlov Trip from Stockholm to Sundsvall | Teen Travel Vlog in Sweden
Sportlov was finally here, and like many students in Sweden, I wanted to make the most of it. This year, my plan was to travel from Stockholm to Sundsvall to visit my brother, Säf.
But before any bags were packed or trains booked, there was one important step: asking my parents for permission 😀.
It was my sister’s and my first time traveling without parents, so we had to explain our plan carefully. I sat down with Mamma and Pappa and told them about the idea of making a travel vlog series to document the journey. Of course, they had questions:
- Where exactly are you going?
- How long will you stay?
- Is everything planned?
After going through all the details, they finally said yes. That moment honestly felt like the real start of the adventure.
Getting My Vlogging Gear Ready 🎥
Since I wanted to record the whole journey, I had to get my gear ready. My setup for this trip was simple but effective:
- DJI Osmo Pocket Creator Combo – small and perfect for filming on the go
- Hollyland Lark M2 wireless mic – for clean audio
- 2TB Kingston external drive – to store all the footage
I wanted something light and easy to carry, and this setup was just right.
I also thought about bringing a guitar as a gift for my brother. It would have been perfect for some entertainment, but unfortunately, we couldn’t fit it anywhere 😅.
Calling My Brother 📞
Before leaving Stockholm, I called Säf to let him know we were coming. He loved the idea, and we started planning how to get the train tickets and where we’d stay.
The Journey Is Just Beginning 🚆
The adventure is just getting started, and this is only the first episode of my Sportlov travel series✨.
