Community needs to stop worrying so much about the price and rather consider the implications of Blockchain technology. This price nonsense simply clouds out the signal with noise.

I feel the same way. For things like Bitcoin, as a store of value, the price actually plays a big role in it's survival. For Steem, the price does not matter as much because when the price is low you simply earn more Steem. Also, the fact on Steemit we do not need tokens to utilize the platforms censorship resistance.
