I recently came to know about this new project #ELIXIR on HIVE Blockchain and after reading through what ELIXIR token is all about I decided to invest some HIVE in the project and take my chances and at the same time give the project a chance to continue to strive, grow and support something meaningful within the HIVE ecosystem. In brief and what I really liked about the project ELIXIR is that the idea behind the token is not just about the token itself, but to provide Hive Power to curate the Mildly Infuriating community and other short form content like Snaps, Waves, Threads and others on Hive Blockchain. My investment is purely to support, stake #ELIXIR and receive #HIVE divididends... So now what NeXt?
Bought #ELIXIR Token & Staked for Passive Income - HIVE Dividends...
Before I go into my investment it is imperative to know about #ELIXIR tokenecomics and who is behind the token. Well the person associated to the project is @bulliontools and he is a member of the Hive Onboarding Committee (HOC) and one of the DUO Project founders. Right now the first tranche SALE of ELIXIR is completed where 10K tokens were SOLD at a price of 1 HIVE each and all the 10K HIVE has been poweredup up by @nectarbytes account that would be handeling all the curation and distribution of the HIVE dividends. Here is the brief information around the SALE of ELIXIR in tranches..
Tranche 1 - 10k @ 1 HIVE each - completed
Tranche 2 - 50k @ 2 HIVE each - Ongoing
Tranche 3 - 20k @ 3 HIVE each
Tranche 4 - 20k @ 4 HIVE each
The other intresting part to call out is that @bulliontools has been generous enough to fund the initial HIVE dividends and as per above image those are the funds [HIVE & HBD] given out by him to support and kick start the project. And once these funds deplete the @nectarbytes account will initiate a HIVE power down to continue funding of the dividends. Now that I have talked enough about the project, let me now talk about my investment and the plan ahead. Speaking of investment I did book some profits from my recent #CAKE investment and bought HIVE to buy in ELIXIR tokens. At first I was thinking to #hodl 1K ELIXIR but then I dont know what came to my mind and I shifted my foscus to buying what all was left in the first trenche SALE and hence the booking of profits from #CAKE investment.

Apart from that knowing that in the second trenche the price now would be 2 HIVE, I thought to invest major chunk of HIVE now as opposed to later. I have been a long time supporter of HIVE and have been supporting various other projects so why miss out on #ELIXIR.... At max, what I can lose is some dollars, but then #HIVE is going to give it all back to me once it starts growing and the value of the token increases. For me, it is more about giving the project a chance to grow while also being a part of something new on the HIVE ecosystem.
