I was browsing through Amazon App and then saw this banner which stated - "You have Unlocked Reward GOLD" it further stated get assured 5% cash back 15+ categories. This got me excited and I happened to click the banner and it landed me on the page where I could buy digital gold from Amazon App. Here is one of those image that describes the process of buying the digital gold on Amazon and its benefits..So now the immediate question would be - "How do I buy Digital Gold on Amazon?"

At first let me tell you that buying Digital Gold on the Amazon app is pretty simple. And I am saying so because when I bought Digital Gold worth INR 1K, I faced no problems at all and everything went smoothly, from selecting how much I wanted to buy to making the payment for the transaction. Speaking of the buying option, one can find it in the Amazon Pay section, or you can directly search for Digital Gold in the Amazon search bar.

Here are the steps:

• Open the Amazon app & Go to Amazon Pay
• Click on Digital Gold to check the current gold price
• Enter the amount in Rupees or the quantity of gold in grams you want to buy
• Follow the instructions and complete the payment

Once the payment is done, the gold you purchased will be added to your Gold Vault. You can access it anytime from your Amazon account. Check the above image where it showcases my gold purchase was sucessful and it got me around 0.0617 gram of gold for INR 1000. One important thing to note here is that the price of GOLD is linked to the live gold rate, the buying price is valid for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the price will be refreshed.

So now what NeXt?

I am planing to record all my digital gold transactions here on the HIVE blockchain and the intial plan is to buy digital gold quite often now until I reach having 10 grams of digital gold.

₹5,000 → 0.3085 g
₹10,000 → 0.6170 g
₹16,207 → ~1 g
₹16,207.46 × 10 grams = ₹1,62,074.60 this is the target...
