Weeding
The Meadow

This is the meadow right behind the apartment complex here in my neighborhood in Korea.
Now, when I stand and look at this meadow, I think to myself... some people have it good and some people have it bad. But what separates the good from the bad?
In this meadow, you can see flowers and you can see weeds. How can you fish out the true flowers from the weeds? Can you really?
And what defines a weed from a flower? is it the amount of petals or leaves? Is it the color of the plant? These are all questions we have to ask ourselves.
Question of the Day:
What makes some plants thrive and some plants wither?

The right conditions make plants thrive such as water, nutrients, air, light, temperature, space, and time. Different plants have different requirements.
So in a sense, not all plants can survive in the same environment under the same conditions due to the fact that each has its own chemical makeup and characteristic. ah-ha~ very thought observation. This is deeper than I thought!
Some will still grow but not optimally. For example figs are very sensitive to water. Too much water will cause rotting of root. Therefore quantity of water and type of soil composition are very important. They like light, airy soil like a mixture of peat moss, vermiculite and perlite in 33.33% each. If taken out of their natural habitat, they need special fertilizer to fruit.
I guess this explains why when a foreigner leaves their own country (their own comfort zone or habitat) to live in a foreign land for an extended amount of time, they end up with homesickness. Instinct. Science of nature. Their roots are back home!
Hahaha... if this is the way you want to see it. Be strawberry plants. They grow well in the highlands of every country. 🤣
Good Work my friend! I am going to start and follow your posts!
Keep up the great work!
Thank you.
Very nice natural fields of flowers and weeds! So nice to be able to see the sky and clouds!
The things is... the flowers and the weeds are all mixed up @kaminchan.
No one can distinguish between them because there are too many of them and because they all look the same.
If we are not careful, one flower can get lost in the crowd.
Thank you for more information. I see what you mean; it’s difficult to separate the two. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Cheers.
