Tell us about the first time you met your current partner - Where did you meet, was it a set up date or happenstance and was it instant attraction or did it rise slowly like the incoming tide? - If you like you may do a fictional story for this one, or post about the true story.

I had to go through failure to understand how important being successful was in life, when I tasted failure and at my lowest point, I started to discover myself, working towards being successful for the first time in my life.

Ok, I posted it. I wonder though @galenkp, is there a maximum length you want it? I don't mean to just keep typing away, but then I find myself reliving things, and before you know it, it is 750+ words! I am not sure if these are supposed to be a certain length, but I thought I might should ask.

There's no maximum, but I rarely curate or reward posts under 250 words, so more of a minimum. I don't set that as a rule though, just ignore posts under 250 generally.

Have you seen the length of my posts? Rarely short. 😜

Right?!? You and your brother both write substantial posts. lol. Sometimes, I think, I'll make a shorter post, and it just doesn't happen. Welllll, unless you count the actifit posts, but those are just recounting my "fitnessing" for the day. I do them from my phone, and they don't give me a word count in the actifit app, so I have no clue about those.

I don't have a problem with Actifit itself and know people use it as some sort of journal as such, I just don't think those posts are worth voting on - There's much better content out there.

EDIT: Also, there's nothing awesome about me. I'm just an average, everyday knucklehead.

I was really missing this great weekend engagement. I always check it out and love the idea of first times. Almost always the first times are either memorable or really bad haha... in my case some of my first times have been great. I love this theme, it's great @galenk.

I'm going to participate, so I get back involved with the community a bit because I really have been a bit missing and I apologize for that.

Regarding the topic, I remember for example my first time teaching at a university. I won't talk about it in a post, because I don't know, I don't have photos to back it up, but for a while, when I was a recent graduate, I was teaching a group of first year graphic design students. I was so scared but it was great to break the ice and get started with my class. It's great to see the faces of the students with a desire to learn and excel, that desire we all once had, with expectations for the future and professional development....

I wonder... where is @nineclaws. is she around? haha best regards friend, if you happen to read me.
