The Most Fresh Graffiti on Caracas;

CCC'S STREETART CONTEST

I’ve already made it clear to you all about my love, passion, and dedication to graffiti and urban art—anything related to the street interests me, fascinates me, and I love it. One of my greatest pleasures is doing graffiti at midnight in a vandalistic style. I’ve also made it clear to you about some of the situations we experience here and face; because of situations like this, I’ve had to step back and distance myself a bit from the adventure. It’s been almost a month now since I’ve been able to go out onto the street to create a new piece of my own, and that’s why I’m sharing the work of some friends and colleagues.

  • Let's Go with:

Raek & Seer

These writers have also been active for several years—I’d even say a decade—constantly leaving their mark on the streets, leaving their names and signatures, their graffiti, and their pieces in various parts of the country’s capital. I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with them in parks and at hip-hop events in the past, and although it may have been many years since we last spoke, it makes me very happy to know that they’re still active, representing art and urban culture.

  • Now we go with;

Arepa

Better known as "Arepa de los Llanos," this artist has been active on the streets for quite some time—well over a decade. After a period away from both social media and other activities—presumably due to personal circumstances and difficulties—we’ve been able to see this artist back on the streets, painting in his signature style. While his style is quite distinct, classic, and straightforward when it comes to graffiti, he demonstrates a very high level of skill when it comes to mural painting.

  • One Liner'S:

Tyler

Tyler is another great graffiti artist representing a crew called "usd," which has been active on the streets for over a decade. He is another great artist who has stayed true to his roots and maintained his presence, bringing color to the streets but, above all, leaving his mark in the most marginalized and dangerous neighborhoods of Greater Caracas.

  • Street Kings;

Rose & Caso

We’ve just been talking about the dangerous streets of Caracas and the slums, and the dangers faced by some artists. These two are among the most prominent representatives of this form of urban street art—art born of violence—since these two writers, and especially the one who goes by the name ROSE, are among the most respected graffiti artists in the CMS crew. Their graffiti can be found throughout Venezuela as well as in other countries, including Paris, Rome, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, and obviously here in Venezuela.

  • Best for the End;

Dako

Riso

These two artists have done a fantastic job on the side facade of this building, bringing color and life to this wall and, above all, to the entire street. To be honest, I don’t know much about these two artists’ background or current status, but I do recognize their artistic skill, which is excellent. The technique is impressive, and the colors are perfectly placed with a striking sense of proportion and a very effective use of space.

Thanks for Watching!!
