Shirt Order, 14.7 Mile Bike Ride, Irrigation Job Visit, Weeding, Tree Felling - Wednesday

First thing yesterday morning I got the email sent off with the details of the shirt order. I am trying to get Fleming's Fix It shirts printed so I have a more professional appearance going out on jobs, so I am not wearing 10+ year old running race shirts...

Got the boys to school then went out for a ride right away. I chose to schlep my ass up the Crescent hill then over the Wild Rose crest.

It was a nice morning and not too warm or humid thankfully. My plan called for threshold which I tried to hit on the climbs. I find I am not able to stay in threshold very long, my body naturally falls to zone 3 even under a load most times. I guess that is a good sign that my general fitness is such but it makes it hard for training.

I got home and was cooling off eating a huge bowl of oatmeal and setup a patch job for this morning. A client has an Air BnB on the lower south hill that has the shower pan separating from the tile above. I will fill in the gap with silicone caulk in hopes it will get them by for the next month or two until they can get a proper repair which will require removing the shower pan most likely, something out of my wheelhouse.

Then I headed over to my client's to go over the irrigation install. Good visit and I get along well with Hugh, her husband who runs the group home. I have to setup the trencher rental and get the parts purchased to have it done by next Tuesday.

Back home I headed out to the garden to get the weeds pulled finally. Such a jungle and the garlic are going to be much happier without the mass of competition. The animals were ecstatic for the munchables.

After the boys got home I went and hacked down a dead tree by the chicken coop. It is the smaller of the 2 dead and I ended up having to push it over to fell it as the wedge couldn't get it to tip fully.

The saw handles it wonderfully and did not run out of charge. I managed to lose my glasses though in the mess of brush, thankfully I have a bunch of pairs.

Today I get the boys to school then head down for the patch job. I will swing by a bike shop to look at a bike they have that would be great to step up to off the old model I am on. Wish I could get my original paraglider sold to pay for it... Need to get a ride in, should stop to buy parts for the irrigation job, schedule trencher rental, then come up with dinner this evening and hook up the trailer for grain run tomorrow morning.

There is a lot to building a business...
Nice 50K ride today but the shitty head wind sucked. It's good for me but it still sucks.
