Session, NEW TOOLS, 25.5 Mile Tempo Bike Ride, Peppers, Scapes, Last Band Concert - Tuesday
Yesterday morning after getting the boys to school I was in town for my weekly session which went well. After I stopped at North 40 for their DeWalt sale and picked myself up a new tool. $90 with a battery for the saw.

And I grabbed a bunch of pepper plants as none of my seeds sprouted in the greenhouse.

The saw is super slick and I found I have a nice little pile of new blades in my shop already!

My 4 port charger is super handy to have as well now with the various tools.

Soon after getting home I was out on the bike for a ride. My plan said for a tempo ride so I tried to keep my heart rate and cadence up higher for the ride.

It was a rather nice day, not too hot and the clouds made for some nice views.

I did a loop around Deer Park then headed back for home.

I have an interesting knack for riding 25 miles despite taking various different routes. It's nifty that I can manage that without any planning. Just riding and choosing where I am going as I ride.
I managed to stay in tempo for a good hour and got my avg speed up over 16 mph.
Once back home I was cooling down and looking through the N40 ad again and noticed the wet dry vac on sale. @stryeyz had just mentioned how she would like a small one for the house... Well, for $100 OFF I could not resist.

So I drove the short drive back to the store and picked one up. I have plenty of batteries and it works rather nice and is very portable.

Then the peppers had to get planted in the greenhouse.

Some MORE scapes were ready in the garlic. I really am nearing the end of the scapes as the handfuls keep getting smaller.

It was J's last band concert for the year so off to the middle school we went. It was great as he was on the front amp, I kinda figured he would go for that one so we sat near.

He was keeping an eye on us and the band did their little warm ups and he looked up at me and I motioned for him to play. So he started playing the opening notes to Tool's Schism. I LOVED IT!

Then I couldn't stop laughing the whole time they played Dragonslayer as he had his amp turned all the way up and it was SUPER loud, it was shaking the stands beneath us.... LOL.

He didn't know it was that loud so he played hard like it was not turned up, plucking the strings then switching out to his pick for the middle bars.

The kid has a rather musical ear and is picking it up fast and much of it on his own, at least for the "good" songs he is figuring out. The ones from Tool, System of a Down, and Rage Against The Machine.

After the concert we had a stowaway in the car come home with us until his mom stopped to pick him up after their scout meeting. I was in the garden and then the greenhouse and noticed that something eats tobacco leaves!!!! WTF!? I did not think we would have any insect that would eat tobacco in the Inland NW since the plant is not native here.... And I thought is poisonous to most things.

Today will be busy. Boys to school, irrigation job to finalize plans or start, shirt order to get started, weed in the garden which is beyond in need of it, short ride early, then will have grain tomorrow morning so will have to get the trailer ready and hooked up this evening, and I am setting up another small repair job.

Good score on the DeWalt circular saw and vacuum my friend!!👍😀
I really like the four port charger!!💪
The 4 port charger replaces the single port that fried at some point overwinter. With the slew of batteries I have it's key. And NOT DeWalt brand so it wasn't super pricey.
Very nice that it will match up with the DeWalt batteries!👍😊
No more waiting for a single battery to charge up!🤗
