Giro, Scapes, Dog Door, Mowing, Alpaca, Flag Football - Sunday
Cooler mornings recently thanks to the weather that keeps floating around. No rain yesterday but the clouds were nice to keep the temps down all day long.
Final stage of the Giro was laps around Rome which seemed more pomp than race. Jonas won the GC rather easily and sets up his TDF battle against Pogi nicely. It really is crazy just how strong the riders all are.
Mid day I was in the garden picking more scapes from the garlic. It is finally getting down to the last varieties with most having tried to flower so far. The weeds are the worst problem for me now.
The outer dog door flap fell off the bracket so I had to reinstall but with washer type things this time to not allow the flap to pull over the screw heads.
Then I was out mowing. It was getting lanky around the farm again so I went and blasted through hte old pole garden area where I found left over potatoes growing. I cut one down before realizing they were there then scoured the area and cleared around the other ones before mowing the rest of the spot.
Then I finished off the whole side of the driveway to the sheep pen. It is the cooler less sunny area so has grown out a bunch with the recent rains. It is a pain in the ass a bit with only 1 of the 2 string attachment points on the mower head but it managed, just a bit slower than normal. Still beats weed eating.
The alpaca was in heaven as I threw in piles of the cut weeds to her. She plopped down and I kept tossing rake fulls at her. She is getting better slowly and still is favoring her leg but is far better overall.
It was J's last flag football game and they had pictures before hand.
After their practice, they played their game which went a good bit better than all the prior.
They made it far longer through the game this time and had many more flag pulls and nearly their first touch down. Some teams had much more athletic kids compared to our team as a whole but the boys seemed to have fun with it nonetheless.
We stopped at the store on the way home for groceries and parked right by this ZHZ Corvette. I had to go look up what the hell a ZHZ model was and found out it was a Hertz rental model from 06-08... Rather silly seeming to me, but whatever.
Rain likely sometime this morning it looks like. Boys to school as they start their last full week, more mowing to do today, irrigation planning to finish, need to get a ride in, finish potato sorting, greenhouse weeds need pulled and tomatoes wired, then dinner made this evening.
Oh and seriously, enough with @actifit and the useless app. Can see why it has gone so far down hill given the state of Hive anymore. With only a few k active users why put all the effort into the app that is hardly used? At least my phone battery will stay a LOT more full each day...

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does

TBH, Actifit posts always struck me as barely a step above spam unless people put effort into adding something significant.

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
