Congratulate, Steemians! New All-Time High for Steem

Way back in 2016, before my time as a Steemian had begun, the Steem cryptocurrency hit a massive all-time high of (roughly) 4.30$, following the beta-lauch hype for Steemit.

A massive pump followed by the most panicky sell-off ever, probably caused by the discovery of the then ridiculously high inflation.

Now, for those who have been hodling since that time,
today the time has come to see the fruits of your long wait.
Steem just hit an USD evaluation of 5.00$!

...proving that there is always a higher moon!

Keep in mind that although a new USD record has been set, the BTC comparative is nothing compared to the pump we saw in the summer last year.

Considering the massive positive price action we've seen today, it's is likely that we'll experience a correction of sorts going forward the next few days.

'That's a pretty substantial jump!*

But who really knows when it comes to cryptocurrencies these days.

I really just wanted to congratulate and thank all my fellow Steemians, old and new, for having faith in the platform and contributing in achieving this symbolic milestone.
