The Blood Price

A working dog needs a job, and Miko decided his calling is chasing drones. Of the many he's fetched into drone Valhalla, they all bite back. This chomp christening and blood baptism is simply part of the propeller cycles of life here for a professional drone downer as he bites and banishes the buzz bots.
Miko is fine - a tiny nick on his tongue, which he ignores as he insists I fly more.
This is why I only let him chase this drone style—it is not big enough to cause significant injury and robust enough that it doesn't disintegrate into a thousand swallowable shards at the slight touch of a tooth.
At this stage, I'm probably the single largest retail purchaser of the EMax Tinyhawk III and III+ in my country. Maybe even greater than all purchasers combined. Yes, there is a budget for toys for the boys.

It just so happens I have a household of visitors, and they get to sit in the spare goggles. I was happy for the additional eyes inspecting the high corners of the room and the insides of Miko's mouth. In return, they get to experience the thrills of high-speed flying under the furniture.

Anyway, Miko is asking me if it's time to fly again.
