Rainy walks, a drenched return, and work from home [#poprzeczka June 2026 #03]

Work from home — again

Another day working from home. The desk, the screen, the same familiar loop between chair and kitchen. Comfortable, but not exactly a day built for movement.

Morning — two doggy walks between dry windows

The night was rainy, but there were dry windows — brief gaps between the downpours. Two doggy walks squeezed in during those gaps. The second one ended with a shower that started exactly 200 meters from home. Both of us — me and the dog — were soaked by the time we made it back. The kind of walk that leaves you cold, wet, and slightly amused.

Midday — the only tracked walk

The midday walk was the only one with the tracker on. That is why the official count sits at just 3,600 steps. The morning walks happened without the device, so they live only in memory, not on the chart.

No run today

No run today. Not every day is a running day — and that is fine. Some days are for walking, getting wet, and staying dry behind a screen. The running will be back.

The #poprzeczka

Day 3 of June. The bar was set at 3,000 steps. The official count stopped at 3,600 — cleared, but just by a narrow margin. Day 3 is in the books. The rainy one, the wet-dog one, the work-from-home one — still cleared.
