As everyone knows, market conditions change. The price of HIVE fluctuates - and with that, the real value of proposal funding changes too.
Rather than ignore this reality, we are choosing to adapt.
We have decided to reduce our daily proposal request from 396 HBD to 300 HBD.
This is a voluntary reduction.
Not because we're scaling down. Not because we're slowing development. But because we believe responsible stewardship matters.
Our Budget Was Already Tight

Is Ecency earn some 30 % or 40 % from outside the HIVE world some extra money to buy HIVE also up and put it in HP , **the answer is No ** ... and because of this, sales are also continuing every month in the market. Building trust in the entire Hive ecosystem is a continuous process that is essential both at good and bad times.
I had an idea the other day, but I'm not sure whether it can be effective in practice.
The content that is uploaded to different Hive platforms every day is massive.
It is indexed by search engines and AI bots, I guess, isn't it?
AI bots use it to answer queries etc., essentially taking advantage of it without the Hive blockchain and its users receiving any benefit in return.
Recently, various platforms and applications have been developed, such as Copyright.sh, for example, to help creators license and monetize their content that is used by bots in one way or another.
Could the Hive content platforms make use of such a facility to monetize the content that is used by AI bots to compensate Hive writers, commenters, posters, and curators?
This could be in the form of an accumulated pool/fund that is fed with AI licensing fees.
These fees, or a percentage of them, could then be distributed/shared among the Hive creators and users who are involved in the creation of the content, that is the community, in fact.
That is the general idea, anyway.

I just took a quick look at this, there is no clear evidence that it pays off because hive content is public by default and scrapeable, this process require signed licensing deals and AI companies have no way of tracking how they scraping per token/character based, etc. etc. We will keep an eye on this front though, perhaps development will prove useful.

This is a responsible decision, and I hope it will be sufficient in these difficult times. I don't know what others expect, but to me, the purpose of DHF seems clear: to support the development of Hive applications. Now, if someone thinks that development should be stopped, especially for those applications that have proven over the years to be progressing and attracting new users to the ecosystem, then we are not living on the same planet.
