What's new in 3.0.1 and 3.0.2
- Simpler navigation bottom - we got rid of fancy and buggy navigation bottom and replaced it with simple one, it had few aligning issues due to different device sizes and animation was slowing down performance on older devices, so it is simpler now.
- Image optimizations for Android - we had to use our latest image optimizations on website to mobile app as well, so mobile users don't have to download bigger files and spend more data bandwidth, now Android users has that by default, faster and lighter image downloads
- Low RC popup fix - in last release we forgot to remove testing script caused many people to get unnecessary Low RC popups, those scripts have been removed.
- Editor tags fixed - few Android devices had issues with writing tags where letters would multiply, we have fixed that bug.
- Drafts fixed - Local and global drafts were not saved or used properly, we have improved the flow
- Copy content - Comments and Posts content copying was disabled due to feature that is needed for them, we turned them back on and move it into options.
- Comment options - Comment link and thread view added into options with 3 dots, giving you more flexibility while surfer and reading threads.
- Library bug - we have upgraded some libraries and released 3.0.1 couple days ago which had unexpected bug on Android devices, yesterday our team had to work extra hours to fix and push update. Thank you to our community for reports and helpful encouragements. We love you! 🙇♥️💪
We will continue to focus on performance and bug fixes in next updates, so it will become faster and more lighter on your device, using less resources but giving more opportunities.

Esteem to Ecency....everything makes hive essential....😊 for mobile...in fact it was the first app I downloaded on my new phone...the new app is very smooth and works better....however still sometime it get a little bit of time time to opening the home page...and for a suggestion I would like to see ecency allow to select and copy certain sentences and words from the post....kind of copy+paste which is quite allowable on browser...but not on app
That's exactly what was added in this release. Did you try 3.0.2 yet?

Now wondering if the encouragement program too introduced again to get some added love on the post..
We have lowered boosting amount so that we can curate more people daily. Previously bigger boosts would drain voting power but now, more people will have chance.

Very Good! I hope next update will add video (short/long) so not only we can uploada some picture, there are some video too although in short type (or small video in short duration later can be displayed as flash image/flv or gif type 😁
We have considered short videos upload in past and still on our table, only that there is added cost associated with hosting videos and they are not decentralized. We have some promising alternatives now and will probably add it after some testings.
Will it be coming to macOS?

Been using the update and loving it, the speed and smoothness of the new upgrade sure does make it far better user experience, looking forward to seeing what else you will be adding in the future looks like plenty on the cards
I still get connection errors and failures on updates after loading onto phone.
Will give it another try.

On clicking a link which was to open in my browser the Ecency app shut down.
I was using an iPhone.

It was the discord invite link in a comment posted using the @ecency account. It was to be redirected to browser but instead the app shut down. I tried it again before making this reply but it’s still the same.

but I have seen some problem that I like to report to your.
I problem is I am not receiving any points while using the @esteem/@ecency desktop/ mobile application
you can see the difference in the below screeshots.
this shows the comments and usage of my hive account I have done all this tasks using @esteem/@ecency desktop/ mobile application but I didn't get any points. as you can see in the below screenshot

have a fault with the labels? is that when one places them in a publication with their separations, it will erase them immediately and when publishing it only takes the official label of ecency. We would like to know if it is a failure or with the update this action will remain like this.
It is a bug on mobile app, we are fixing it with upcoming release which is scheduled to come out in couple days

I was plagued by the multiplying letters in tags and a couple other things. This made me use Peakd more but I'm actually really enjoying Ecency mobile.

Is there any option of translation of languages within the app?
Or will any 3rd party app support this feature?
In settings page, we have a lot of languages that will translation application into different languages but if you meant for translating content, we don't have that yet.

Translating content been requested multiple times, there are some limitations because google translate or any other free services, they have limited characters to translate. But you can use our website now to translate any post directly with Google translate, that's workaround for now, until we find better solution. Thank you!
