‎Hey, a big hello to all the friends who are part of this GuestAuthor team. Today I want to share with you a little of what’s been happening in my life lately, since I know that this kind of thing can motivate many of you and help you see things from a different perspective. Everyone has an internal struggle that they rarely talk about and, in the worst cases, don’t even acknowledge.

‎As some of you know, after my cell phone broke, I was completely cut off from communication for a month. That month brought with it endless financial and food-related hardships. After several days of running from hospitals to bus terminals, the moment my phone broke was catastrophic.
‎
‎This led me to look for other alternatives, and so as not to drag out this post and bore you with personal matters, just know that I couldn’t find a job and that even doing non-criminal work can land you in prison.

‎The point is, once I was released again, my family (my mother) let me use her cell phone to figure out how to log back into the platform, and here I am. I haven’t been able to be as consistent, but by using other colleagues’ phones, I’ve been able to take photos like the ones I’ll be sharing today.

‎Fellow inmates?
‎
‎Yes, fellow inmates! Since I took the intensive course on hydrocarbons again, I’ve been 100% focused on that these past few weeks, without neglecting my daily work to earn a living. I’m taking an intensive course on HYDROCARBONS at the INCES academy here in Punta de Mata, Monagas State, Venezuela. In an upcoming post, I’ll tell you more in depth about what this is, why it’s important, and what the objective is.

‎All these personal challenges combined are what make me who I am today. Every day I learn to be more humane and tolerant. Thank you to everyone who reads my posts and to those who take the time to care.

‎This course is of great importance and represents a tremendous opportunity for change—not only for me personally, but for many of us living in Monagas State, as this course provides training and prepares experts in the country’s oil sector.

‎> The photos were taken yesterday in the classroom. I’m not sure what model of phone I used, but after taking them, I sent them to my mom’s WhatsApp, and from there I downloaded them and uploaded them to the platform using her phone.
