THIS was super enjoyable for a freewrite!!! Her ignorance was SO adorable! The fact that she completely oblivious - but also quite firm in the fact that SHE should be the beneficiary of her own life - that is ABSOLUTELY GIGGLE-WORTHY!
I love it. My dad used to always say that buying life insurance was betting against yourself. and I was like hmmmm well dad, life insurance is for the ones you leave behind... HAHAHAHAA
I guess he knew that, but he was thinking, why would I spend money from my paycheck for a policy that I won't benefit from.
then again - I was much younger, so maybe I'm just remembering it wrong. hahahahaha

Woah, just cherishing the compliments.
While some people are naive about the benefits of life insurance 😐
Some see it as a negative investment just the way you pointed out.
But Shades case was a case of complete ignorance because the company will be the one to be paying for her insurance aa an employee but she opted out of the employment, losing two things (her employment and insurance cover)all at the same time.
