Master nodes for cryptocurrency

I have been in search a coin that I can purchase and become a master node holder. Has anyone else done research or is currently running or thinking about running a master node? The info on the net is not clear about exactly what options are out there.

Buy in early and hold long term. Really more as a diversification of my overall Assests. Looking for consistent income from running the node and letting the coin do what it will in the market.

Looks like I might be a little to late on that one. The big run up in the past few weeks concerns me for long term return. I appreciate the reply. I will revisit the info Andy keep it in the mix when making my decision
