Hello to all my Hive friends... 🐱

A few weeks ago, I started a collection of Pokémon Unown. I mentioned that each one represents a letter of the alphabet and certain symbols, and that they’re inspired by ancient symbols and the idea that language holds power.

Today, I’m sharing "The Pokémon Unown corresponding to the letter C", crafted as a decorative figure using the quilling technique.

I’m sharing this image so you can get an idea of all the different Unown Pokémon that exist, and so you can follow along as I create them and see how similar they are:

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hace unas semanas comencé una colección de Pokémon Unown, les mencione que cada uno ellos demarcan una letra del alfabeto y algunos símbolos, como tambien que están inspirados en signos antiguos y en la idea que el lenguaje tiene poder.

Para hoy les dejo "El Pokémon Unown que corresponde a la letra C", en forma de una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.

Les dejo está imagen para que se hagan una idea de todos los distintos Pokémon Unown existentes y así le podrán hacer seguimiento al que voy elaborando y que tan semejante es:

Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

Comencemos:😃

• I started by creating the base figure; all Pokémon Unown share this same base, which is their face, and then I added different shapes and styles. Here’s the link to the first one I made so you can see the step-by-step process; I don’t see the point in repeating it in every post: Pokémon Unown "A".

• To continue with the rest of this Pokémon, we’ll use a circle-making template and a 3mm-wide black quilling ribbon that’s long enough. We’ll wrap it around the template until the ribbon runs out, then secure it with extra-strong white glue. This will form a ring.

• With the ring on the base, apply several layers of extra-strong white glue, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next. Wait for it to dry and harden completely.

• Comencé haciendo la figura base, todos los Pokémon Unown tiene esta misma base que es su cara para seguir con formas y estilos diferentes. Les dejo el link del primero que hice para que vean el paso a paso, no le veo sentido repetirlo en todos los post, Pokémon Unown "A".

• Para seguir con el resto de este Pokémon vamos a tomar una base para moldear círculos y una cinta para quilling de color negro de 3mm de ancho lo suficientemente larga, enrollaremos alrededor de la base hasta terminar con la cinta, sellamos con pega blanca extra fuerte. Vamos a obtener un aro.

• Estando el aro en la base aplicaremos varias capas de pega blanca extra fuerte dejando secar entre una capa y otra, esperamos que seque y endurezca muy bien.

• Remove the ring from the base and cut it with scissors; also, cut off a small piece and set it aside.

• Take the cut ring and shape it by making a small fold at the top and another at the bottom, as shown in the image.

• Very carefully, we’ll position it on the center piece and glue it in place using extra-strong white glue; we must let it dry thoroughly.

• Once the piece is dry, we’ll take the piece we set aside, position it between the ring and the center piece, apply glue, and let it dry thoroughly.

• Finally, apply extra-strong white glue to the entire finished piece to seal, harden, and protect it.

This completes this Pokémon Unown, which corresponds to the letter "C" of the alphabet, in the form of a decorative quilling figure.

• Sacamos el aro de la base con una tijera vamos a cortar, adicionalmente picaremos un pequeño trozo el cual reservaremos.

• Tomamos el aro cortado y vamos a moldear realizando un pequeño dobles en la parte de arriba y moldearemos también en la parte de abajo, pueden apreciar en la imagen.

• Con mucho cuidado vamos a cuadrar en la pieza central y pegaremos aplicando pega blanca extra fuerte, debemos dejar que seque muy bien.

• Una vez seca la pieza tomaremos el trozo que reservamos lo cuadramos entre el aro y la pieza central, aplicamos pega y dejamos secar bien.

• Por último aplicamos a toda la pieza terminada pega blanca extra fuerte para plastificar, endurecer y proteger.

De esta manera finalice este Pokémon Unown que corresponde a la letra "C" del alfabeto, en forma de una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.
