I just signed up via Ecency. Unfortunately, the mobile doesn't let me do anything (I get errors all the time), but on web it works. I've used the Premium feature to get some points. What should I be doing with my points?

The ecency points are not that relevant to be honest. You can earn more Hive token by regularly posting, or microposting via snaps. I prefer peakd.com over ecency.com as it has more features.
I just really like doing things on my phone over desktop. Will try peakd on my phone. The hardest part so far was understanding that I need quite a bunch of HP staked not to be constrained by the Resource Credits when posting. For motivated newbies, that really sucks! So I bought a few $ worth of HIVE and now it's working like a breeze (so far).
I'll probably get to actually blog myself at some point, right now I first want to check out how everything works and get to know as many people as possible.
You can mute anyone, and also a downvote will block their content. I keep thinking that 'photographer' will leave when he learns he is not going to receive any votes here!

I've run out of Resource Credits very very quickly after making a bunch of posts, so I i figured I'd stake some HIVE I bought so I can basically post non-stop ;-) it would be great to have some smaller boost options so I don't have to pay 9$ for something I don't really know if it'll pay off.
Btw: Right after signing up, there was nothing I could really do in the mobile app so I went to the website on desktop to actually do things like posting, voting etc. The next day, everything was fine on the mobile app, as well, so I've been using that.
other than the ecency points(which i do like the idea of even if PeakD is my home) what do you think ecency has that makes it bette than PeakD or Hive.blog?
I'm curious I came in strongly biased to PeakD cause it's where my friends who are on hive prefer so I was already familiar with it.

Might be best for new users to use Points for Boost+. A 200HP delegation from Ecency allows them to do more.

Oh if you have the hive keychain app you can use peakd on your phone.
Ecency Points Boost+ is helpful for newbees. A 200 HP delegation from Ecency is a great boost.

PeakD is a great frontend and one of the best things about Hive is that everyone has a choice to use whatever they are most comfortable with!
