310 WEEKS STRONG!! Creative Work Hourβ’ Awards π Winners of Ladies of Hive Contest! β¨

Congratulations to Kerris L Ravenhill, LoH Judge of Week 310!
In this week's sponsorship post for the Ladies of Hive contest, Creative Work Hour spotlights Guest Judge Kerris Ravenhill @kerrislravenhill and highlights the winning authors.
Kerris has achieved Hive's coveted Orca status and has been on the chain for nine years. Here is her recent post where she celebrates her web3 tenure since joining the legacy chain August 22, 2017.
A moderator of the Ladies of Hive community, Kerris brings her own deeply individual aesthetic and expressive writing to her blog. Beyond her iconic silver collection and spirited pirate lore, @kerrislravenhill brings incredible warmth, resilience, and heart to the Hive community. Writing from the Canadian West Coast, her candid posts on health, personal triumphs, and daily life model a rare authenticity that inspires others to share their own voices. Her constant encouragement and genuine engagement with fellow creators demonstrate how Hive is about the kind of storytelling that builds real and lasting bonds across the globe.
It's this balance of humor, empathy, and community spirit that makes @kerrislravenhill such a wonderful choice to judge the contest. She understands that the stories we share are more than words on a screen. Each paragraph is intended to to uplift, connect, and celebrate the bloggers that make up the community.
We are so grateful for the heart she brings to Ladies of Hive, and we congratulate her for lending her talent to LoH Contest no. 310. Please join us in giving her a well-deserved Hivian high five by leaving a comment below, engaging with her posts and giving her a follow @kerrislravenhill! π
Ladies of Hive, 6 Years Strong!
They say that a fisherman can see another fisherman from afar. Being a founder is no light-weight task, and sticking with it for the long haul can be tiresome even when things are rolling right along.
Since joining Hive, CWH founder @alessandrawhite has been a big fan of the work of @thekittygirl and @silversaver888. She noticed that although the two live a continent apart, these two women held firm to a strong value, namely, that good content creation, particularly by the women of Hive, should be intentionally supported. She was over the moon to learn that together they had co-founded a community called the Ladies of Hive.
Six years later, I subbed in as a replacement guest judge for the Ladies of Hive Community Contest no. 275. Getting a look under the hood of the weekly writing contest gave her the inspiration to do something special to support the community and authors who publish there.
We are Creative Work Hour (CWH)
CWH is Hive's Coworking Studio that's live daily and dedicated to bringing your ideas to life. We provide a gentle welcoming environment where you can quietly work alongside others to distill your intention into productivity in a space expressly designed for cognitive flow.CWH Invests in Writers Weekly
To honor the efforts of @ladiesofhive and to celebrate more than 300 amazing weeks of community posts, Alessandra, @bitterirony, and the crew of Creative Work Hour signed on to sponsor each week's Ladies of Hive Contest, beginning with Week 300, 9 August, 2026.
If you're not so familiar with the workings of the contest, each week's guest judge provides one or two prompts. Authors can enter by writing to one, the other, or both in their contest entry post. Over the course of the week, the guest judge curates the posts. At the end of the contest week, the judge chooses one First Place post, one Second Place post, and three Third Place posts. The community chooses the Lady of the Week.
CWH Invests in HIVE Daily
Creative Work Hour sponsors the weekly Ladies of Hive Contest with prizes the we fund in HIVE thatβs accumulated based on the number of active Hivians who join us each day. Together, we do the work of writing content, fine tuning post packaging, or taking care of other creative work that needs doing. It works a little like matching donations, but instead of contributing HIVE directly, HIVE is raised in kind triggered by creatives attending our sessions. Then, @creativeworkhour stakes the amount of HIVE every day based on the number of Hivians that joined the crew that day.
But Thatβs Not All!
We're kicking in additional contributions β not just in daily Hive Power Ups to support the chain, but also by investing in the accounts of the LoH contest winners with awards of Hive Stake-Based Income (HSBI).
At Creative Work Hour we believe creative thought matters and that those who write to a gold standard should enjoy ongoing rewards that @josephsavage so innovatively designed into the programme.
So let's get to it.
Letβs celebrate the winning authors! ππΌ π ππ½ ππΎ ππΏ|

About the CWH Founder
Alessandra represents Hive at tech conferences and creative events all around the world, but home for her isn't pinned to a single country or postal code β it's a way of living, one where things get built, tested, busted, and put out into the world as works in progress.
What fuels these efforts is the same stuff that keeps Creative Work Hour running 365 days a year, across 100 events per month. It's the sense of belonging to a group made up of others who are also doing their best to give creative living a go, too.
To attend, hop π on over to our Discord at π Creative Work Hour Discord Alessandra will meet you there, welcome you in, and set you up meeting ID and passcode for our small batch Hive Co-Working Studio hosted on Zoom. Camera shy? No worries, cameras are totally optional. π
