With strokes of misfortunes
Unable to boot up.

A time when the number of followers is equal to popularity.

I saw a man crushed by a car
Passers-by rushed to capture the moment.
Watched him bleed to death
While their feeds trend.

Youngsters stood on the rail
Just to capture a moving train
But grounded to the floor.

Life is now a race of selfies
Daring death to a race
Ignoring little act of kindness
In exchange for likes and followers.

My childhood friends took risks like that all the time, (and they didn't even get any likes back then), some are resting in the graveyard because of stunts like that... Boys will always try to do stuff like that it is in our genetic code... =(

They need to consider what they are leaving behind...

Things like untreated "ADHD" in kids leads to lack of impuls control and risk taking behaviour, luckily now people/parents/teachers are more aware about these conditions and there are medications that can help...

Kids that pull stunts like this just act they don't evaluate the risk first...

Yeah the whole ADHD thing is a bit controversial.
But I guess it is better to "drug-up"/"medicate" these kids then to let them run amok, hurting themselves or others...

Dude...it is not just kids. You have not lived until you have read the account of a group of grown ass people (that's plural) leaving an armored jeep to tale selfies in close proximity to a pride of lions. A pride dude. Like one lion is not quite enough. Yes. It turned out just how you think it did. When I learned it was not an isolated incident and that these things are on the rise...I stopped reading. Just can't make this shit up!
