Ancestral Beings

I woke up in my old room, still the same computer sitting on my desk, but the room was different. The familiar smell of the cotton sheets clung to my face, but the study table and chair that were in the room were not there. I looked up and saw something completely different. At first, I thought I was half awake, but when I tried jumping off to go grab a snack, I found myself unable to go anywhere. I rubbed my eyes and saw that everything was as it was in this room, and I was in fact awake. This was my room. I decided I must have been dreaming, though it felt quite real. I tried to remember as much as possible about the dream. I fell into a long slumber, and woke up to the same room, and this time, I started to remember a little more. I recalled talking to my family in the kitchen, and I recall telling them that I was going to the gym to work out.

That isn't very odd, I go to the gym almost every day. What was odd, was when I woke up and realized that I was staring at the ceiling of my room at home, in bed, unmoving. I tried thinking back to what I was doing before I went to sleep, but was unable to remember anything, not even the dream I just had.

My mind became foggy and I slowly began to fall back into an unconscious haze. When I woke up to that same room again, it was a bit different this time. I felt my room vibrate and the ceiling began to open up and move around. I scrambled up out of the bed and held on as the entire room moved. It finally came to a stop, and it wasn't ever a room at all. It was a large tube that was some ways off of the ground. I walked up to the end and looked out. I saw the tube around me, but nothing else. It was completely empty. I could hear a loud, thundering noise that sounded from everywhere at once.

It sounded like the noises that were made on the computer when it was stressing out, the only difference was the fact that it sounded like there were a lot of computers all stressing out at once. I went to the end and decided to jump out, and I didn't fall, I floated. I got down and felt my feet, and I could feel the ground, although it was hard and slightly slanted. I began to walk out and looked all around, yet there was nothing to see. I began to think about what could of happened, and then it hit me like a freight train. I remembered going to the gym yesterday morning, and then nothing. I couldn't even remember going to bed, or waking up.

I became abnormally dizzy, and that's when I remembered everything. I remembered going to the gym yesterday morning, the news, the accident, and even that the house was changed. I remembered running down the hall, trying to get to my room, and then seeing blood on the wall. I had a feeling that I should run. I ran as fast as I could, and ran out of the house, but I was chased by various amounts of people that moved as if they were in slow motion. They were all smiling and it made me scared. I tried to run faster, but couldn't. I tried to get away by jumping off of something or chasing them, but I tried and I ran faster.

I was getting tired and sweaty. The more I ran, the harder it got. I made it to the edge of the cliff and fell off. I looked down. Where I was falling, the ground looked like moving quicksand. I tried to jump away, but my feet went into different parts of the ground and would not let me jump away. I was stuck in the ground now, and I struggled to get out of it. The ground just got harder and harder to move my feet into, and I decided to let go. I let go and fell onto the ground and bounced down the side of what I assumed was a cliff.

I slid down the side of the cliff and landed upside down on a large pile of rocks at the bottom. I turned over and found that I was on a cliff face. How had I gotten there? Then, it hit me. The cliff I was on was on the same cliff face I fell off of. I turned around and found others lying around me in the dim, bright light. They were all looking at me with smiles and it unnerved me. My feet went into the ground and I went under.

I struggled and squirmed, trying to get up, but my attempt was in vain. I felt my skin pinch and move. I came up and looked down the cliff. There was a man standing right above me. He was staring down at me. He was smiling, yet his face was sunken in and his teeth were rotten; they were sharp like shark teeth. He had no eyes, just pitch black sockets. I tried to get up, but I couldn't. My feet went in deeper and I went back under.

I turned around and found two men nearby. I knew them, but I couldn't remember their names. They were boys I knew from school. I frantically struggled out of the ground, but it only got harder. I looked behind me and saw a large group of people standing right behind me. In their hands, they had various weapons made of stone.
