신사임당의 초충도중 맨드라미와 쇠똥벌레

제5폭엔 맨드라미,산국화,나비,쇠똥벌레등이 등장.쇠똥벌레 세마리가 제나름대로 일에 열중하고 있는 모습이 보이고 나비는 맨드라미 주변을 무리지어 날아다니고 있음.이화면의 주인격인 맨드라미는 계관화라고도 부르는데 민화에선 관계에로의 진출을 상징,이경우는 그것과 상관 없어보임.
