I have been tempted longtime to participate in the amazing open mic competition of @luzcypher with many thanks to @pfunk but it is difficult to compete with an old school phone, it just doesn't sound ok. To the rescue came @tim-rumford with his Steemit Song Collaboration Project. To manifest this, we need an easy song on which many different voices and instruments can collaborate. This is about song and lyrics so i feel free to participate with screwed up voice and cheap guitar. I made something out of the blue with only this in mind, it is a 100% original, hope you like it. We had a lot of fun making it. The boys in the video are very good friends, one of them is my son (full upvote for the first one guessing who, personal friends not allowed to participate). Our families spent 5 years together in North India and another 5 years in Karuna Farm Community, South India. Circumstances made us split and we are here in Goa to visit them for a week, it is happy reunion time! The quality of the sound and video is very low. I give thanks to @gardenbsquared to make it a more audible and to put subtitles, this is what we do with @ecotrain, helping each other out, wonderful little community. I promised the boys to share the profits and one fifth will go to the girl who was very courageous to borrow her guitar to a wild punk like me. Upvotes and resteems appreciated by all of us, no worries about me powering down for this, i never will. It's a month ago i posted something on my blog, happy to be back :-) **We like to Steem It by Bub and the Goa Boys**
This may sound like a little provocation But it's time for a new generation Well, here is the simple revelation Just say NO to the current situation
Say bye bye Mr. Facebook, it's invasive Say hello Mr. Steemit, it's creative Be the product of your own imagination And let love be in full celebration
Sing a song, write a poem, make up a story Give some Steem, Get some Steem, no need to worry
Decentralised communities, it's time to join Get your money from the bank and buy some bitcoin Be a part of a true revolution Be creative, that's your contribution
