Is this what dates look like before they are picked? They don't grow where I am, and when I get them at the store they are all dried and wrinkly and weird looking. I wonder what they looked like fresh, and how big they were, and what color! I guess this is my answer! They are so delicious. I could snack on dates all day. I could take a siesta under this little bush right here and be happy for hours. That is, if they are even edible raw!
