This is one thing that scares me a lot. Just imagine one had saved his coin for a very long term investment and his account got hacked.what would be his situation?

I hope nothing happens to the Binance exchange otherwise we will end up losing billions of dollars.

definitely man. its a worry. exchange hacking is a huge fear for all of us. I hve a bit of tron and tried moving them to a tron wallet but until now nothing is shown up in the wallet though it was confirmed on blockchain. Apparently they are having problems with their deposit system unless its a hack on going. if it is a lot of people are going to loose alot. check this link below:

I almost lose all my XRB coins. Luckily I managed to transfer them out before the hack. Anyway, BitGrail is the worst exchange I ever used.

why all rumors are here for hacking, why this shit sites that have low security and not maintain our funds do this trading work? @boxmining why all companies have attackes and hacking on these days when we bought more coins. Any one answer me?

Invest in a Hardware Wallet and live without worry. I know of people that invest thousands into Cryptocurrency but can't bare to fork our 100 for a Nano S. Let's keep our priorities straight.

I’ve been following bomberfrancy’s twitter (owner of bitgrail) after the hack and I’ve got to say he has been very unprofessional in all this. He will not take 1 bit of responsibility and it’s a shame. Binance and official Nano have been much more helpful in providing updates and support than Bitgrail themselves. So many sketchy things have been discovered about bitgrail. Looks like bitgrail knew about what was going on way before they reported it. seems it was being hid. I myself have lost $1000 USD in this hack which is a lot of money to me.

Thanks for explaining in simple terms that MEW is just like an ATM and not the actual bank... sounds like my ERC20 tokens are fairly safe...
