$HIVE Explodes +40% in Surprise Pump

Altcoins Flat, But $HIVE Breaks Away
What a morning, guys! $HIVE is up over +40% and has reclaimed the 8-cent level. This pump feels like it came out of nowhere, especially since most other altcoins are flat. Maybe Bitcoin pushing above $80K triggered some traders to open long positions.
The market cap of $HIVE is still tiny, around $50M USD, so even a few larger orders can create significant volatility. We are No 422, right in the middle of Coins I never heard of.
To be honest, I’m not convinced this price level will hold in the short term, as many traders will likely sell into this relief pump. But what do you think? Could this be early accumulation by whales building long-term positions in $HIVE?

With hope that Hive’s volume continues to increase and this is not a fake pump, this time the price may reach its next resistance level around $0.11 and form an accumulation zone there to build a strong move.
We need to focus closely on the volume... what kind of volume is coming in. If the volume does not increase while the price keeps rising, it could be an indication of a fake pump.
We all know that after such a pump, there's always a decline. Miracles don't happen, and HIVE will follow BTC, but with weaker results.
If the whale who bought that low at 0.0608 (last price before the pump) moved those tokens to hive and staked them, there is a possibility that price might slowly appreciate from here.
However, there could be some other people who might want to sell into this high to seize some profits, especially people who bought at $0.0588 and held them liquid.
That RSI at 82 though 😅 Screaming for a cool-off. But you're spot on - with Bitcoin above $80K, traders rotate to micro-caps like $HIVE fast.
I'm bullish long term because of Ecency + Hive blogging adoption. Price is just noise. Utility wins.
Several time I noticed shuch pump in Hive during 5-6 years of Hive journey. Hope it will sustain and go up from here.
Interesting move. To me, it feels more like momentum than long-term accumulation. I just checked Steem as well, around +20%. I’d lean more towards market mechanics and wouldn’t be surprised if part of the move gets sold off again.
How I wish the hive pump miracle can be sustain and improve, but whatever the case, an inch upward movement is better than the otherwise.
