Walk 👟 Day 22: An Evening Stroll Along the Water, Sandown, New Hampshire, 20 October 2026

Land, Ho!

When @alessandrawhite and I take our evening stroll, we love to catch sight of our neighbors out on the water enjoying Captain’s Pond. We see all manner of watercraft out there from jet skis to canoes to . . . larger boats like this one. Usually they pay us no mind but this captain seemed quite keen to come ashore once he spotted us. He was shouting something about brains, which I guess was a compliment.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t stick around to have a chat as supper was on the hob. Perhaps next time we can have a proper chin wag. I mean, if they have chins. 😬
