The Observant Face [Portrait]

Hello Sketchbook Artists
I kept this portrait simple and focused on character rather than perfect detail. I used bold lines and cross-hatching to build the facial structure, shadows, and expressive, while leaving parts of the face open to give the drawing a raw, unfinished quality. I like how the sketch feels direct and expressive without needing too much detail.
