Facial Study (portrait)

Hello Sketchbook Artists
I wanted to focus on the face, the hairstyle, and the way the features come together without overworking the drawing. I used simple hatching and varied line weight to build the shadows and give the portrait more structure.
The rougher lines were left visible to keep the sketch feeling personal and natural.
