Beautifully defined

Hello Sketchbook Artists
Here is a portrait I made to focus on structure, expression and the details of the face. I used fine hatching and controlled line work to build the shadows without making the drawing feel too heavy. It's a simple Study, but I enjoyed seeing the character come together through just a pen and a few deliberate strokes.
