Saved By Faith Alone?
The Apostle Paul argued in Romans 6:1-2, “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?” In other words, being a Christian means being a “Christ follower,” and in our seeking to be like Christ we seek to be sinless.
Problem is, we can’t become sinless in this lifetime. Paul laments in Romans 3:23 that “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” and later calls himself a wicked man, doing what he doesn’t want to do. And so, God gave the Law so that we could know what sin, as Romans 3:20 states, “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.” The law tells us what sin is, but it doesn’t save us. Paul goes on in verses 21-22, “But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.”
This is grace! This is what frees us from following 613 commandments (not just 10) with fear and trepidation. We now have the Holy Spirit within the believer guiding us, and so we are free from the Law and live under Grace. Sin is rebellion against God, and with Jesus He changed what we were rebelling against. And so, we now live in a deeper, mature relationship with God than the early childhood of do’s and don’ts.
Romans 3:28-31, “For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law... since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith. Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law." Do you now see how we are free from the law, but under grace remain faithful and are no longer in rebellion?
We get better at not sinning as Jesus works His sanctification in us, but we will not truly be sinless until we shed these earthly, fallen bodies and get our new glorified body up in Heaven.

If you have faith as small as a mustard seed then you can moved mountains. Trust is the key. Believe in him and we can do anything because all things is possible to God.

When “get to” moves in front of “have to” it is likely the grace of God which has come to abide with us, moved in and set up camp. Grace leads us into the world of “free for” and we begin to see our neighbor as a place to experience Christ alive with us. With grace as our companion, life becomes a great big opportunity and we discover just how God is postured “for us” and not our condemnation... sounds like good news to me.

Amen! Absolutely saved by grace while still needing to keep the law as God commanded. We know that in the last day's Gods people will be a people who keep Gods Commandments.
Revelations 14:12
"12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
So how do you know your part of that remnant church? It's a church that keeps Gods commandments!

Dear @bibizzle, To the question that if we are only saved by faith ... The answer is definitive and absolutely Yes! ... God knows our weaknesses and that is why he sent his Spirit to help us live according to his will that is good, pleasant and perfect. Salvation is God's supreme plan for humanity and it is by grace that no one can boast

Very true. Grace is divine enablement, which is being able to do what you cannot do normally and it's also unmerited favor which is the case in our salvation. As Paul said its by grace we are saved through faith not of works lest any should boast. God bless you all.

Faith is what makes us different. As long as we all have faith in new tomorrow, future will come. There is no pure soul on this planet. Everything made on this planet, there is a sin behind the story. But, with some small and specific deeds we all can make it a much better place. And by that I mean in spirit. Do something nice to change someones day, to make someone smile for no reason, to make someone feel warm and special for a minute, hour or a day. All those small details can overcome sin and make us worthy for the day when it comes.

Couldn't agree more with your post. Normally I tend to be skeptical to a lot of the preaching i've read on steemit. But this is for me, spot on. We can't fully be without sin, but being a christian means that you never get comfortable sinning and settle with it.
Luke 9, 23: Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
We must daily choose to be christian and try to live after Jesus example. But we are, as you say not perfect. Therefore it's good to know that God's grace forgives us and helps us through this struggle.
This is the christian doctrine. It is what makes us who we are in Christ.
Your post is amazing, i couldn't agree more on this one. It is indeed that by God's love for men that He sent Jesus and let His son die for the atonement of our sins. Jesus came not to break the law, but to fulfill the law. He did, at some passages in the bible, break traditions of the hypocrite pharisees, but he upheld the law. We are saved to do good works, and not by any means saved because of it. Thank you for this post. I'm very glad i came across with your blogs. Will follow you for more of your truthful posts. While we are in this world we are going to be sinners, but while we wait for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ we can be imitators of Christ, trying to separate us as much as possible from sin, loving our neighbor and praying a lot so that God will cover us. Saved by his grace is something we all christian should be aware knowing that we cant be saved by our natural power or by our kindness, or by our works, our apostle Paul testify of this and warned us not to start thinking that we are holy and saved by our power but by God alone, it is necessary for us all as christian to pray for this Grace as this is what will help us in this race of life.
