I said it is not plagiarism or scam. I am not here to censor what people can or can't post. I have guidelines I follow to determine if posts are spam, plagiarism, or a scam. Outside of that, it becomes censorship deciding what is allowed or disallowed. Even spam, plagiarism, and scams are subjective and very difficult to define in the real world.

It's quick to judge from your high horse, but it is far more difficult in reality.

I actually asked quite a few people and the majority felt I should keep it because "technically they didn't break any rules".

This was a reference to our conversation which you obviously disagree. At the time of my response, you didn't flag them. So you were taking a stance against it and obvious showing disapproval of mine, but you didn't take any action (kind of the motto around here).

High horse is an expression of someone who feels their opinion is better yet does nothing. Throwing stones is a similar expression.

It's clear you knew right from the start what was the right thing to do but for whatever reason you were hesitant to pull the trigger.

As for the flagging part check my voting history. I'll doubt you ll see more than 5 flags for the 1 plus year I am here. My flagging instinct triggers when I see something that personally annoys me to a very high degree (almost impossible, even antivaxxers don't reach this level) or is right away dangerous (phishing). It's a feature I have essentially forgot it exists!

Also have a good look on this post. People have said that you (plural you, as all bid botters) have no grace to begin with, are greedy, turn steemit into a shit hole, and so on and so forth And yes, that plural you includes you.

But you choose to pick a fight with me that:

  • Just quoted the facts (yes, slightly paraphrased but the essence remained the same) and expressed disagreement
  • Didn't use anything that could be perceived as an insult AT ALL

A couple of hours ago @meno wrote a super detailed article about the whole @dlive thing.

I think the research he made and the effort he put into that and the result is amazing.

I even proposed maybe bot owners could skip a voting round and send that post to trending...because it definitely belongs there...plus everyone would be informed with details...but I assume unless someone pays...nothing happens..right?

I can totally see why this was a head-breaker. It feels really good you made this decision though. There's a lot of 'grey area' in decisions like this but I know I jumped up and down just now when I realized that post was brought to zero thanks to both flagging from the community and the bots taking back their votes.

i tried smartsteem delegation i must admit, twice only delegation 20.. Just to try build up an income and to turn it into power, as i've been here just over a year, and well trying to find active followers is rare.. the revenue wasn't much i noticed, as the slider was a bit puzzling with its decimal revenue. i no longer use it now.. But anyone wishing to use it, the system is very easy to follow/use. The owner did a good job with it.😀

I removed @buildawhale's vote and brought them -$30 or so.

I really don't want to be a censor, and the post isn't a scam but it's clear this has been planned over a long period of time and not something they just decided to do because they got offered $20M to do it on Lino instead.

As I said to Trumpman, it's very easy to throw rocks from a high horse, but most of the people bitching didn't put their money where their mouth is and flag the post. I flagged it immediately with 100% flag, but removing a vote I take much more seriously. I asked around and more people said they felt "no rules were broken" even though they are pissed. Although the "remove the vote" crowd is much louder and emotional.

I was very happy to see many decide to use their stake and actually do something with it rather than just point fingers and throw rocks in the comment section.
