Hello, hello, nature-loving friends! I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your loved ones. I'm happy to share my visit to a curious garden where I found a very striking plant, Hibiscus schizopetalus. It's the first time I've seen it. In the city, it's common to see hibiscus flowers in gardens, but this one is very different from the ones I've seen before.

Its leaves are green with a yellowish tinge at the tips. While taking the pictures, I noticed a small honeycomb nestled among the branches. Without making a sound and as calmly as possible, I took a picture of this curious honeycomb. It's cylindrical with a circular opening at the front. While I was taking the picture, some bees flew around the leaves. To avoid disturbing them, I stayed still, avoiding the slightest movement. After taking the photograph, I quietly stepped back. I had never seen a honeycomb with this shape before; I found it interesting, which is why I took the picture. In the next shot, you can see the buds of the hibiscus flower. They're similar to the hibiscus flowers that are commonly seen in many gardens, but the difference is noticeable when the flower blooms.

Hola, hola amigos amantes de la naturaleza, espero que tengan un excelente fin de semana en unión de sus de sus seres queridos, me siento feliz de compartir mi visita a un curioso jardín donde encontré una planta de muy llamativa Hibiscus schizopetalus,
es la primera vez que la veo, en la ciudad es común ver cayena en los jardines pero esta es muy diferente a las que había visto anteriormente.

sus hojas son de color verde con un tono amarillo en las puntas, mientras tomaba las fotografías me di cuenta que entre las ramas hay un pequeño panal; sin hacer sin hacer ruido y lo más tranquila posible le tomé una foto a este curioso panal, tiene forma cilíndrica y un orificio circular en la parte delantera, mientras tomaba la foto, algunas abejas volaban por las hojas, para no incomodarlas o alterarlas, me mantuve quieta evitando hacer el más mínimo movimiento, al tomar la fotografía me retiré tranquilamente, no había visto un panal con esta forma, me pareció interesante y por eso le tomé una foto, en la siguiente toma se observan los capullos de la cayena, son similares a las cayenas, que regularmente se ven en muchos jardines pero el cambio se observa cuando sale la flor.

I really liked this flower because of its shape; it's known as fringed hibiscus, Chinese basket flower, basket flower, among other names. While taking the photograph, I noticed an insect on it. I zoomed in as closely as I could to see its shape, and it looks like a bug. The flower's petals are white and light red, with many fringes, as its name suggests, and a red line down the center from which the fringes extend to form the basket shape.

It has five bands that support these petals; the shape is zigzag, with rounded tips, and the pistil emerges from the center. The insect posed very calmly for the photo. We tried not to disturb it or interrupt its nap and advanced slowly. In the next photograph, you can see the basket shape of this flower. The petals grow outwards, and inside, a kind of basket or lamp is formed. In the last photograph of the flower, we observe the pistil and the circular basket formed by the petals. The fringes are truly striking. I was surprised to see this flower; I didn't know of its existence, only the common hibiscus or cayenne.

Esta flor me gustó mucho por su forma, se le conoce como hibisco con flecos, cesta china, flor cesta, entre otros, mientras tomaba la fotografía a esta flor me di cuenta de la presencia de un insecto en ella, enfoqué lo más cerca que pude para ver la forma del insecto y parece un chinche, los pétalos de la flor son de color blanco y rojo claro, con muchos flecos como su nombre lo indica, una línea de color rojo en el centro, desde la cual se van desprendiendo los flecos que conforman la cesta.

Tiene cinco franjas rojas, que constituyen el soporte de estos pétalos, la forma es de zigzag, puntas redondeadas y desde el centro se desprende el pistilo, el insecto posó muy tranquilo para la foto, intentamos no molestarlo e interrumpir su siesta y avanzamos lentamente, en la siguiente fotografía se aprecia la forma de cesta, que tiene esta flor, los pétalos crecen hacia afuera y en el interior se forma una especie de cesta o lámpara, en la última fotografía de la flor observamos el pistilo y la cesta circular que forman los pétalos, los flecos son realmente llamativos, me sorprendió ver esta flor, no sabía de su existencia solo conocía el Hibiscus común o cayena.

Besides the fringed hibiscus, I found a lovely white flower known as Jasminum sambac. Believed to be native to the Philippines, it has three petals that open at night and remain open during the day. It's a woody shrub that can reach up to 3 meters in height, growing in clusters of flowers on its parent plant. It has a pleasant, sweet aroma, Its fragrance is soft and reminiscent of jasmine, and it's used to make exquisite and delicate perfumes with a subtle floral scent.

I was also unfamiliar with this flower and found it very interesting because of the shape of its petals. In other regions, it's called Arabian Jasmine. I also really liked its aroma, which reminds me of a body cream I used for many years. The bud is teardrop-shaped and covered at the bottom with a green layer. When it opens, we see a beautiful and delicate flower that gives off a sweet aroma which attracts various insects.
The leaves are simple and a glossy dark green. The flowers are traditionally used for flavoring and are also used in teas and infusions, provided they haven't been sprayed with pesticides and are suitable for culinary use. It is propagated by cuttings, blooms throughout the summer and in most cases in subsequent waves, especially in warm, humid, frost-free climates; in tropical conditions, flowering can be continuous. Its size depends largely on the climate. It is ideal for planting in gardens and pots, as its pleasant aroma will help keep the space fragrant. Visiting this garden was a lovely experience, which allowed me to discover two beautiful flowers.

Además del Hibiscus con flecos, encontré una linda flor de color blanco conocida como Jasminum sambac, se cree que es típica de Filipinas, tiene tres pétalos los cuales abren en la noche y permanecen durante el día, es un arbusto leñoso que puede alcanzar hasta los 3 metros de altura, crece en manojos de flores sobre su planta madre y tiene un agradable aroma dulce, su fragancia es suave y se asemeja al jazmín, se emplea para fabricar perfumes deliciosos y finos con una suave fragancia floral.

Esta flor tampoco la conocía y me pareció muy interesante por la forma de los pétalos, en otras regiones recibe el nombre de Jazmín de Arabia su aroma también me gustó mucho y me recuerda una crema corporal que usé durante muchos años, el capullo tiene forma de gota y está cubierto en la parte inferior con una capa de color verde, al abrirse observamos una hermosa y delicada flor que desprende un dulce aroma el cual atrae varios insectos, las hojas son sencillas y de color verde oscuro brillante, las flores se utilizan tradicionalmente para aromatizar también se emplean en té e infusiones considerando que no hayan sido rociadas con pesticidas y que estén aptas para el uso culinario; su propagación se realiza mediante esquejes, la época de floración es durante todo el verano y en la mayoría de los casos puede hacerlo en oleadas posteriores, especialmente en los climas cálidos, húmedos y sin heladas, en condiciones tropicales la floración puede ser continua, su tamaño depende en gran medida del clima, es ideal para colocarla en jardines y macetas, ya que su agradable aroma ayudará a mantener el espacio perfumado. Visitar este jardín fue una linda experiencia, que me permitió conocer dos hermosas flores.
