Tambiรฉn hay personas que por el ajetreo de la vida diaria o con motivo de problemas de la vida no pueden conciliar el sueรฑo, no se descansa como el cuerpo necesita o se sufre de insomnio. Eso hace que luego el dรญa a dรญa sea mรกs complicado de lo normal. Yo misma tuve una รฉpoca en donde me costaba mucho dormir, me levantaba y daba vueltas, sintiรฉndome al otro dรญa muy mal y cada vez peor.
Muchas veces los problemas atormentan, en otros casos hay mucha tristeza o hasta depresiรณn y lo mรกs comรบn es el no poder desconectar de las cosas que pasan en el dรญa y tomarnos un tiempo para nosotros mismo y poder relajar la mente. En mi caso me ayuda mucho caminar, sobre todo en la naturaleza. Pero muchas otras veces no puedo salir a caminar y hay mรบsica y sonidos que me ayudan tanto a relajarme como a dormir.
There are also people who, due to the hustle and bustle of daily life or because of lifeโs problems, cannot fall asleep, do not get the rest their body needs, or suffer from insomnia. This then makes day to day life more difficult than usual. I myself went through a period where I found it very hard to sleep; I would get up and toss and turn, feeling terrible the next day and getting worse and worse.
Often, problems weigh heavily on our minds; in other cases, there is a great deal of sadness or even depression; and the most common issue is not being able to switch off from the dayโs events, take some time for ourselves and relax our minds. In my case, going for a walk helps me a lot, especially in nature. But on many other occasions, I canโt go out for a walk, and there are certain pieces of music and sounds that help me both to relax and to sleep.

When I arrived in Spain, I was on my own, completely on my own with my cat, Cata, and at night I found it hard to sleep. I was more than 12,000 km away from the country where I was born, far from my family, friends and acquaintances. I hadnโt got used to the noises and sounds of my new surroundings, and falling asleep was very difficult, as if I were constantly on high alert.
And thatโs when I started listening to YouTube videos to help me. Now, eight years on, I canโt remember the specific channel I used to listen to, but it featured the sounds of water, rain and the sea. For me, water is relaxing in all its forms; itโs life, but at the same time it gives me energy, and Iโve always loved rainy days and even stormy ones. The sound of the sea, on the other hand, I find very soothing, so hereโs an example of one of the videos I use to help me sleep.
