Swimming With the Fishies In Cancun
Decided to send my iPhone 7 Plus for a dunk to get some footage of the fishies. Was a little
Nervous as it was my first time putting it under water, but I heard it was water resistant. It’s still alive and well as it’s what I’m making this post with.

@athome I hope your phone continues to be dry. Dunking isn't the same as 'water resistant'.

Haha thanks, the speaker took a minute to dry out. It was in salt water so when I got back I rinsed it in the sink and then put it under the hand dryer and it was good to go.

haha I never tested mine's water resistance, glad to know I couldhave. I jumped in a pool once with an iPhone 5 in my pocket, major regret lol.
Haha losing a phone sucks, not the end of the world but major inconvenience for sure. You can always spurge for the iPhone X and not have to worry about the water issue at all. Up to a certain depth of
course.
Yeah it's kind of amazing that they're all water-proof now. Next up they need to be damage proof. Dropping/banging into walls/scratching... I desperately want to use my iPhone without a case, it looks so good haha. But it's too dangerous lol.
