How to Use Armored Monsters Effectively in Splinterlands || Campaign Chapter 4

In Splinterlands, the Campaign mode is extremely important for new players. They should play through the campaign and explore each chapter carefully to understand what each one teaches.
The basic purpose of the campaign is exactly this to introduce you to the game, give you knowledge about battles, explain players, their abilities and powers and overall improve your understanding.
Before this I had already played several campaign chapters and explored many things including card types, melee attacks and ranged attacks. Today I decided to explore another chapter that is Chapter 4 which is about Armor.
Now when a new player joins the game they usually don’t have proper knowledge about armor. Even if they play they may not use armored monsters effectively. They may not fully understand ranged attacks, melee attacks, different card types or proper positioning.

All of this can feel confusing. However if you keep exploring the campaign then you gradually gain a strong understanding of everything. You will get an idea how to use the monsters in the right positions and according to its stats and abilities.
When I explored Chapter 4 that belongs totally about armor it explained that armor absorbs damage from melee and ranged attacks. Its main feature is that it protects a unit's health.
As long as your monster has armor its health will not take direct damage. However if the enemy has a magic attack monster that attack bypasses armor and hits health directly but that’s a separate chapter we will discuss later.

The main focus of Chapter 4 is teaching how and where to use armored monsters. Remember monsters with high armor and health are usually selected as tanks or secondary tanks.
To explain armor better heres an example.. If a unit has 2 armor and receives 4 damage from an enemy attack the armor will absorb part of it. The armor will be reduced to zero and the remaining damage does not affect health directly in the way you might expect that this highlights how armor continuously protects health.

In this campaign I also got the chance to play a battle where I used an armored monster as a tank so its health would not be affected quickly. I used some of my own monsters and I won the battle. The main focus was understanding how to use armored monsters effectively.
After completing this battle Chapter 4 was finished and I received four great monster cards as rewards with the name BARTHLAMAS, FRANKARSGARD, CHAOS FURYBRINGER and STURDY AXE WARDEN.

I can use these in future battles. The good thing is that I got one ranged attack unit, two melee attack units and armored units along with an Archon unit that will perform well in battles.
Thats all for today regarding Campaign Chapter 4. Soon I will explore Chapter 5 and share a brief overview with you guys.

I hope you guys will like this post and is interesting as well. If you find it informative then dont forget to give me a support. Share you reviews in the comment section below. Thank you all for your time reading the content.
