IPL and the Dark Side of Online Betting

IPL used to be just a game of Cricket, but now it's how millions fall into debt, or worse, don't make it out alive.
This year, IPL will trigger a spike in India's $100 billion betting market, and the spike is nothing to joke about. Most of it is illegal, with offshore apps, crypto wallets, and mule accounts, all built to vanish without a trace.
Now, to be clear, fantasy cricket isn't the same. The Supreme Court says it's a game of skill, picking players based on form, pitch, matchups, not luck. But the psychology isn't all that different. Fantasy apps are built to keep you coming back through near-wins, leaderboards, and bragging rights.
And the cost?
In Mysuru, three family members died after betting debts spiralled out of control. Not surprisingly, a survey found 57% want celebrities to disclose risks in ads, Over 60% want government regulation. So states like Telangana, Andhra, Assam, and Odisha have already banned fantasy gaming, because some will lose more than just a game without ever stepping onto the field.
If even one person sees this and steps back from the edge, it's worth sharing. So, please share this with everyone and follow AVTV for more.

The thrill of live matches makes it easy to chase losses without thinking straight. For me the biggest game-changer was actually researching platforms properly before jumping in, and I ended up sticking with one after reading some solid user feedback on the melbet real or fake question that cleared up my doubts from personal use. Still, no matter the site, discipline is everything or it turns ugly fast. Has anyone here managed to keep betting just for fun without it becoming a problem?
