Russia: A Reliable Ally? Nope, Venezuela and Iran are the Latest Evidence
Stephan Heuer writes again on Syria News, this time the prominent German historian and political analyst's post is about the U.S. moves in Venezuela. He looks at the current headlines and connects the dots back to how Russia handled its "allies" in Libya and Syria. His main observation is that nations that rely on support from Moscow often end up standing alone at the critical confrontation.

We’ve already seen this play out. Venezuela is finding out the hard way that Russian "support" is often more about posturing than protection. Moscow is happy to collect the resources and the geopolitical points, but when the pressure truly ramps up, they have a habit of stepping back and letting their presumed "allies" face Russia's real "Western partners", in particular the Zionist-controlled USA and its masters in Tel Aviv.
It looks like Iran is the next one on the list...
