Encuentro con los Protagonistas: El Cierre de mi Tarde en el Hipódromo (Parte 3)
¡Hola de nuevo, comunidad! Para cerrar esta serie de tres partes sobre mi visita al hipódromo, guardé lo más emocionante para el final. No solo disfruté de las carreras, sino que tuve la oportunidad de conocer de cerca a quienes hacen la magia en la pista: los jinetes.
Los Protagonistas: Francisco Quevedo y Jhonatan Aray
En las fotos que logré capturar con mi teléfono, me acompañan dos figuras fundamentales del hipismo venezolano actual:
Francisco Quevedo: Un jinete de gran talento y mucha garra. Es conocido por su capacidad para decidir carreras en los tramos finales y por haber ganado eventos de gran importancia en el calendario hípico nacional. Su disciplina lo mantiene siempre entre los mejores de la estadística.

Jhonatan Aray: Es otro de los jinetes más destacados y respetados. Se caracteriza por su excelente conducción y por la confianza que le brindan los entrenadores para montar ejemplares de primera línea. Su presencia en el paddock siempre es señal de competitividad.

Conocerlos fue una experiencia increíble que no esperaba que se diera tan de cerca. A pesar de la presión de las carreras y el tumulto de la gente, ambos se mostraron súper sencillos y amables al permitirme estas fotografías.
Transmiten una energía de mucha concentración. Verlos allí, preparados para la acción con sus implementos, te hace entender que ser jinete no es solo "montar un caballo", sino ser un atleta de alto rendimiento que pone su vida en riesgo en cada partida. Fue, sin duda, el cierre perfecto para mi día y una memoria que guardaré con mucho cariño.

Hello again, community! To wrap up this three-part series about my visit to the racetrack, I saved the most exciting part for last. Not only did I enjoy the races, but I also had the chance to meet the ones who make the magic happen on the track: the jockeys.
The Protagonists: Francisco Quevedo and Jhonatan Aray
In the photos I managed to capture with my phone, I am joined by two fundamental figures in modern Venezuelan horse racing:
Francisco Quevedo: A highly talented and gritty jockey. He is known for his ability to decide races in the final stretches and for having won major events in the national racing calendar. His discipline keeps him consistently among the top riders in the statistics.

Meeting them was an incredible experience that I didn't expect to happen so closely. Despite the pressure of the races and the crowd, both were super humble and kind when allowing me to take these photographs.
They radiate an energy of great focus. Seeing them there, prepared for action with their gear, makes you understand that being a jockey isn't just about "riding a horse," but being a high-performance athlete who puts their life on the line in every start. It was, without a doubt, the perfect end to my day and a memory I will cherish.
