Testing Magi Network: How I generated sHBD and performed my first swap.
Hello Hive and @magi.network team! It's a great pleasure to participate in this initiative, which aims to make the vast majority of users aware of the great resource we have with the integration of the Magi Network project into Hive. For the first time, Hive has a mechanism that generates demand for its assets outside of its own ecosystem.
Magi becomes the fourth protocol in history (along with THORChain, Maya Protocol, and Chainflip) to achieve decentralized custody of native Bitcoin without using "wrapped tokens"; that is to say; Connecting the "Bitcoin world" with the "Hive world" directly and authentically, without intermediaries.
My first experience with Magi Network was on April 18, 2026. I joined out of curiosity and a desire to learn, inspired by my mentor on Hive, @forykw, who has guided me on my learning journey.
On that occasion, as I mentioned before, driven by curiosity, I accessed Magi Network for the first time. I was surprised at how easy it was; I simply had to log in with my keychain, and that was it. Later I realized I could bet HBD with a 12% APR.
Once I bet my first HBD on Magi, it appears as sHBD. This HBD is still transferable and generates a 12% APR.
So far, I've generated this with my single HBD staked on April 18th.
However, let's not stop here. Let's continue exploring this wonderful site and keep learning.
By the way, to guide me, @forykw provided a video he made to easily teach us how to deposit Hive on Magi Network. Here it is, it's excellent.

Today we're going to perform some transactions on Magi, starting with depositing Hive.
We choose the main HIVE network.
Once there, we enter the amount of Hive we wish to deposit. It's important to note that the amount of Hive we have available in our wallet is displayed. HIVE, in my case I have 430,246 Hive available
We enter an amount of 30 Hive
The amount of Hive to deposit appears, and it shows that no additional funds are charged for the transaction. We can see the corresponding amount in USD for 30 Hive.
We click deposit
We have our corresponding 30 Hive in Magi
At the moment I don't have BTC to create a BTC:HBD pool
If I wanted to create a HBD:HIVE pool, we could do it because I have The necessary funds, however, we will perform a MAGI CROSS-CHAIN (that is, we will convert the 30 Hive to HBD within the Magi platform and send them to the Hive blockchain)
In conclusion, I used The CROSS CHAIN OF KINGS and
I exchanged native assets between blockchains. In simpler terms, what I did was a swap within Magi's Layer 2 and then a withdrawal to Hive's Layer 1.
And here are our transactions ready today.
To summarize, here's what I've achieved with the Magi Network so far:
I'm understanding the importance and usefulness for Hive of achieving independence from centralized exchanges through the Magi Network, offering decentralized, gas-free exchanges with real returns.
Transactions are simple and intuitive.
Through the Magi Network, I have freedom and direct access to Bitcoin: I can exchange my Hive or HBD rewards directly for real, native Bitcoin (and vice versa) without leaving the ecosystem and without depending on centralized exchanges like Binance. This is vital if I want to save in BTC or move funds privately, as it doesn't require KYC (Know Your Customer) verification processes.

Hasta los momentos he generado esto con mi único HBD apostado desde el 18 de abril
Sin embargo, no nos quedemos solo aquí, sigamos explorando este maravilloso sitio y sigamos aprendiendo.
Por cierto para guiarme @forykw me facilitó un video que hizo para que aprendamos fácilmente cómo depositar Hive en Magi Network. Por aquí se los dejo, es buenísimo.

Hoy vamos a realizar algunas transacciones en Magi, empecemos por depositar Hive.
Escogemos la Red principal de HIVE
Una vez allí colocamos la cantidad de Hive que deseamos depositar, es importante notar que se nos indica la cantidad de Hive que tenemos disponibles en nuestra billetera de HIVE, en mi caso tengo disponible 430,246 Hive
Colocamos una cantidad de 30 Hive
Nos aparece la cantidad de Hive a depositar y se puede leer que no se realiza ningún tipo de recarga por la transacción, también podemos ver la cantidad correspondiente en USD de los 30 Hive.
Le damos a depositar
Tenemos en Magi nuestro correspondiente 30 Hive
Hasta los momentos no poseo BTC para realizar Pool BTC:HBD
Si quisiera realizar un Pool HBD:HIVE si podríamos hacerlo porque tengo los fondos necesarios, sin embargo, haremos un MAGI CROSS-CHAIN (es decir, convertiremos los 30 Hive en HBD dentro de la plataforma de Magi y los enviaremo a la cadena de bloques de Hive)
En conclusión utilicé la CADENA CRUZADA DE LOS REYES e
Intercambié activos nativos entre blockchains. En palabras más sencillas lo que hice fue un Swap (intercambio) dentro de la Capa 2 de Magi para luego hacer un Withdraw (retiro) hacia la Capa 1 de Hive.
Y aquí tenemos nuestras transacciones listas el día de hoy
Para sintetizar les diré lo que he logrado con Magi Network hasta los momentos:
Estoy comprendiendo la importancia y utilidad para Hive de lograr a través de Magi Network la independencia de exchanges centralizados, ofreciendo intercambios descentralizados, sin gas y con rendimientos reales.
Realizar transacciones de una manera sencilla e intuitiva
A través de Magi Network tengo libertad y acceso directo a Bitcoin: Puedo intercambiar mis recompensas de Hive o HBD directamente por Bitcoin real y nativo (y viceversa) sin salir del ecosistema y sin depender de exchanges centralizados como Binance. Esto es vital si quiero ahorrar en BTC o mover fondos de forma privada, ya que no requiere procesos de verificación de identidad (KYC).
